The Folks Behind the Stonework
3rd Rock Masonry & Construction is a local, family-owned masonry outfit based just outside Emory — rock, stone, and brick for homes across Rains County and the Lake Fork area.
Our Story
Based on a County Road, Not in an Office Park
We work out of RS County Rd 3231, a few minutes outside Emory. That puts most of our jobs within a half-hour drive — around Lake Fork, through Rains County, and out to the towns around it. When you call, you're talking to the people who'll be on your job, not a call center.
[Owner story paragraph goes here — how the company got started, who's on the crew, and why masonry. To be written after the client interview.]
The work is rock, stone, and brick: outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, veneer, retaining walls, flowerbeds, patios, and repairs. Big job or small, it gets the same treatment — a proper footing, straight courses, clean joints, and a site left tidy.
See What We Build
What We Stand On
Three Things We Don't Compromise
Built to Last
Proper footings, good mortar, straight courses. Masonry should outlast the house it's attached to — ours is built that way, whether it's a mailbox or a whole veneer.
Straight Answers
A real price in writing before we mix the first batch of mortar. If something's going to cost more or take longer, you hear it from us first — not at the end.
Leave It Clean
Scrap stone hauled off, mortar bags gone, pallets picked up. We leave the place like we were never there — except for the stonework.
